Thanks TR!! I really appreciate it buddy! The radio show has been really getting folks fired up. We've had some great guests and we've got some great ones on the way.

Thanks again and hope to meet you soon.

Aloha TR! I live on Oahu, pretty much right in the middle of the island... I'm glad you enjoyed your stay, did you manage to get yourself a Matsumoto's Shaved Ice in Haleiwa Town? Ask Billy G. about that, we had a blast when he was here. I will be flying in for FDIC, I guess you could say that this is my version of a dream vacation! I LOVE it!!! Hahaha... Take Care Brother- Shane
  • Shane Furuta

TR, it was great meeting you! Who would've thought that we'd be staying at the same hotel! Pretty funny... Take care Bro! See you next year!
  • Christi Haymore

I have and I probably have to sign them up just to get them going. Whenever Troy called me from FDIC, I was on here.
  • Christi Haymore

Busy, busy! I talked to Tom about it last night and he said he would be worried about me. lol! He told me to put in to go for next year:) Last night was Hollins 50th Bday Bash, it was alot of fun!
  • Christi Haymore

He had a big Budweiser trailer in his back yard. It had a bar and two big screen tvs. He even had bartender chics. We had it at our 9/11 fools bash and he was able to get it for his party. He was all smiles!

TR, We will be there. Sorry for the delay in responding, I have been laid up with a torn right bi-cep. I swear I will learn this hockey thing some day. Light duty for up to 4 months.

Looks like I will be implementing some long awaited programs. Yipee! I hope the sarcasm can be detected.

BC Test this week. I have to go finish their fire problems now.
  • Greg Sharp

Yes I think this will be a good resource. I still have a lot to learn about this. I am not sure how it all works. Maybe you can give me some direction. Thaks Greg

What's up TR! It's been around 80-82, maybe a low in the upper 60's or so (Brrrrrrr!). Hahaha! You gotta come back Bro! Here's my email address, furutes@aol.com. Can you please send me your program? I'll take a look at it and then call you with all of my questions! Talk to you later...

    Aloha -Shane

  • Tom DeMint

Today it is in the 40's. Snowing in the high country. Got to love Colorado. Couple of weeks ago Kathy and I's little home town of Windsor was hit by and F3 tornado. Took about 25% of the town, it has kept us busy. I am off line until August, I am up to 3 pounds on the right bicep now.

    Good to hear from you.
  • Christi Haymore

Been on vacation, so haven't been on. I'm usually on when on shift. Be back to work July 1st, took a month.
  • Jay Michael

Hey TR how is it going? I haven't been on here for awhile so I didn't see your comment on my page until now so even though it is late thanks. I love teaching that class and it was fun up there with you guys. I will have to come up for a shift sometime or to go out for a couple of drinks.
  • Christi Haymore

No all to myself:) Now I know how it feels to be a firefighters wife. Don't let them kid ya it is nice having time to yourself! July 10th I go back to the normal.
  • Brandon Taylor

Hey buddy how is everything going? The task force is moving slow right at the moment because I have a lot going on right now. I have 3 grants that I am in the middle of that are taking all my time. I look forward to having your help with this because you know as well as I do that it will take a lot of work to get this off the ground. Hey do you work any at Notre Dame? I was thinking that you did but maybe not anymore anyway one of my fireman works there part time and he told me that their chief got fired and I didn't know if you knew. I guess he has the sam trouble that we do and that he spoke his mind. Well I will talk to you later.
  • Chad Abel

    Hey TR,

thanks again for all your help in getting it right at FW. It is refrehing to go someplace and work with other people that share the same passion for education in the fire service. I look forward to working with you more!

Nice pic..... the Tupac method of tying a bandana is clearly illustrated in this picture.

I had a great time that day.

Did you happen to get any contact info from the Brothers from LAFD? I was talking to one of them about an axe that he makes, and would like to get in touch with him.
  • Ron Smith (a.k.a. G-Ron)

    Thanks Brother.
  • Jan Harkner-Abbs

Hey TR! I was just up in your neck of the woods last week! Small world with the internet now. Thanks for checking in with me. Looks like a great site.

  • Shane Furuta

What's up Brother! I'm still here... I've been swamped with projects at work. We are gonna be renegotiating our uniform and I've been involved with creating the proposal. Hopefully if all goes well, we will have a Class A, an NFPA compliant work uniform, new work shirt design, and a new Department Polo. I'll keep you posted... I'll have yours in the mail as soon as they are available.

So what's going on in Indiana? I imagine it must be pretty cold about now. We're chillin' out here at a cool 65-68 degrees (Brrrrr!!) Hahaha... Stay Safe Bro! -Shane
  • Shane Furuta

I was thinking about staying at the same hotel. What was your plans? I'd love to stay downtown but I don't think I can afford it, or even get a room for that matter. Let me know what you are planning. I may be flying up solo this year. If that's the case I'll probably be trying to stay as close to the convention as possible. I don't want to be driving around and getting lost by myself.
  • Shane Furuta

Let me talk to the wife about that... She's the one who cuts the checks you know. I'll see if I have any connections on a room too. Keep me posted!
  • Stacy White

still alive, just really busy. how have ya been??
