    Ben
  • Eric Hankins

More like runin an EMS call on the Medic...
  • Eric Hankins

Hey Bro, the simple fact that you mentioned my name in the same sentence as Lasky and Halton is mind blowing. Yea this seems to be a great site. I haven't even had a chance to really sit down and dig into all of the information available. I have been too busy talking with knuckledraggers like yous...

I will definetly be in Seattle in June. See ya then.

Stay low and let'er Blow brother!

    Eric

    Chad

Check out your chapter's forum, I left you a note from Officer Perry.

    What?!@$#
  • Joseph Fiorica

Thanks Chad. I appreciate you inviting as one of your friends on this site. Things here are status quo, too many medical aids and no fires (at least not on our shift).

I would love to come up for the Convention but I'm not sure I am going to be able to. It's that whole work thing. I have not ruled it out yet though so things could change.

Hope all is well and I'll be back in touch soon I'm sure.
  • Ron Smith (a.k.a. G-Ron)

    Hey Brother,
Welcome.......good site, good guys, good info.

I can't believe I'm writing this......but I'm not going to be able to make it out for the convention. This will be the first one that I'll miss since 2002. The Team will be well represented, and I will be sending a video message soon.

Thanks for adding me as one of your friends.
    Stay Safe Bro

hmmmmmmmmm I don't think so........We are here in Wichita, KS with FOOLS OF OZ. I think you commented on our flying monkey logo awhile back.

    Hey Brother:

Finished class up with a big bang on Saturday, everyone did very well in the final evolution. I got Tideman snagged up so bad I thought he'd lose it, but instead he slipped his pack wiggled out and refilled using the RIT bottle. Very cool customer that day. I missed your company.

    See you in July!!
  • Ben Fleagle

About the pics that Dane took, I believe he is taking his second oral interview in Seattle right now, but when he returns I'll hit him up.
  • Ben Fleagle

    Hey Brother:

Dane passed those photos on to me, I'll make you a disc and send em down. Thanks again for coming up and make the difference for us.
  • David Bullard

I am planning too, also trying to start a local chapter in my area.

    Hope to see ya there!
  • David Bullard

I am a member of the Georgia FOOLS, but wanting to start a chapter in the Metro Augusta area.
  • Eric Hankins

Great Job on the pick Brother..... I am sure you'll say it was the troops, cause you're a great boss. But great Job anyway... Thats what it is all about...

    I am jealous, yes!!!
  • Ben Fleagle

    Hey:

What is this about a grab? Wha'd you go'n do? You sentin' the standard again?
  • Ben Fleagle

Hey, I'm not gonna lie to ya, .....I'm jealous. I haven't had a rippin' job like that in a good bit. Nice grab. For some folks that moment never comes, I couldn't happen to a better fireman.

I need to talk to you on the conventional t-e-l-e-p-h-o-n-e. When is good to call?

    Ben
  • Ben Fleagle

    Hey Brother:

    You rock.

(Now, you must ask yourself. Is this simple text statement a compliment or a negative aspect of your mental status?)

Brother, can't wait to see you in July! We've got 5 FNF brothers coming to town! I'm stoked up!!!! We've even got one of our own in Tacoma Fire these days and he'll be joining in with us at the Convention.
  • Billy lewis

I can't wait bro...looking foreward to seeing all of you as well. No rv, but we are still driving.
See ya soon, till then stay safe
  • Ben Fleagle

WWhhatt??? Two more shifts and I'm in Seeeattle!!! By the way, Tod and I intend to combat you in the Grand Prix, however, our aim is not to win, but to assist you in your driving. Nothing like havin' to CO's tryin't tell you how to drive!!!!
  • Chad Berg

It wouldn't be the first time CO's tried that. However, it will be the last!

I can't wait, and I'm so fired up that all four of you are coming down! Long live the FOOLS!
  • Ben Marler

Easy there, brother. I just said to watch out for the Ol' Piss Bricks. Truth be known, I think they were responsible for several of my spin outs in Jersey. I come from a long line of moonshiners, so I'm not afraid to trade a little paint, but those cats are sneaky. The only advice I can give you is to turn left and go till you hear glass and smell s**t. Wish I could be there. Hoist one for me.
  • Ben Fleagle

Yeah, yeah, tough talk from a truckie, but you forget, we Alaska's are not accostomed to observing traffic rules and road markers. We don't know the difference between staying between the lines and going cross country!!! Do the Karts have four wheel drive? I hear its warm in Seattle, I'm worried about melting.
  • Ben Fleagle

I'm pullin' Battalion for a 24 tommorrow, and then I'll be on for another 24 covering Kuiper. He's on his honeymoon. Get this, Kuiper and Kaiser bought Chambers a airline ride to the Convention because he couldn't use his companion fair and he was pullin' a shift for me so I could go. So Kuiper is comin' in off his honeymoon to cover Tod, so Tod can follow me and Buist down on Thursday in the wee hours. Brotherhood, making its mark. Good stuff. I love these guys!!
  • Ben Fleagle

OH, I meant to add: I'll call you tommorrow. I'll be drivin' the Fire SUV so I am sure to have time on my hands.

    Ben
  • Eric Hankins

    Berggy...

Only a few more days Brother. Sippy and McKenna are flying in to Sac on Monday. We'll hang out and visit some houses before we leave Tuesday Morning. Quick Stop in Grants Pass OR for a little "Swift Water Training" and then back on the road Wednesday Morning. I will see you early afternoon Wednesday. Robs place at the latest. Be safe Brother I will see you then...

    Tater OUT!!!
  • Ron Smith (a.k.a. G-Ron)

    Thanks Brother,

I'm feeling the Brotherhood from 2,092 miles away...... that means a lot !
    Wish I was there.

I'm sure Ferg will place some phone calls from some place really loud at all hours of the evening to let me know just how much fun he's having without me!!!

Oh yeah...... Put a tater-tot some place in Hankins' pants for me.

    WTF,
    Ron
  • Eric Hankins

    HEY WHAT THE HELL?????
  • Forrest Kuiper

Figured since I couldnt make the cart race to wreck ya, we would try and send the next best racer...Mr. Tod (Talledega Nights) Chambers! Wreckers or Checkers Baby!
He needed to go. Wasnt really any question on our part. I will be thinking of you all this weekend. Please be safe and take care of our boys in the big city. They may get lost or become scared with all the traffic lights, etc.
  • Ben Fleagle

Brother: I cannot thank you enough for the great time, excellent training, FOOLish environment and most of all, the incredible level of Brotherhood among us all. You and Chad2 made it all possible and did it with real class and in the best of FOOLish tradition.

I congratulate you on your award as the FOOL of the Year! I am proud to call you my brother! You earned it!

  • Ben Fleagle

    Hey Brother:

Just checkin' in on ya. I'm back at the Little Houseon the Ave, stirrin' up trouble in 11 Engine. (I still think it should be a truck). Spur of the moment Nance Drill, got the blood flowin. Tideman made sure to follow procedure and turn the victim's pack into a harness. (I'm still sportin' scars from his last venture). All the boys from the RICO class ask about you and wish you well. So do I, brother. So do I.

    Ben

  • Ben Fleagle

Never forget the simple things. My brother and I have spent many hours devoted to a few young men having difficulty mastering required skills. Drill after drill causing nothing but frustration.
So finally, like the FOOL I profess to be, I donned my gear and did it the right way, demonstrated what needed to be done, the way I needed to see it done. (Nothing like putting your own credibility on the chopping block). Damn if they didn't ge the picture finally.

Yes, yes, remember the simple things.

    Keep safe Brother,

    Ben
  • Mike Kazikiewicz

Got registered a little late, but made it to the classes. Had a great time, really wish I could have made it to the opening ceremonies.
  • Gino Bellizzi

11 Engine, 2nd due, for City Fire, fire on the fifth floor, Northward Bldg. Not exactly High Rise, but definitley above our usual 3 floor home jobs! Stopped off on the fire floor, assisted with search and one of my boys assisted with the vic. Then search on the sixth floor. Nothin' like ending a dry spell.
  • Rick Lasky

    Hi Chad,

Thanks so much for the kind words and for passing it along. What a great way to start the day. It gives ya a good feeling to think we might be making a little push in the right direction, but with brothers like you and Gino, man, anything is possible.

Thanks again brother and be safe pal.

    Rick

Have you heard about RFS. If not i have some info on it. Im going to be tested as soon as possible. Ive heard that it can be contracted by just being in the same room as a known carrier. Im not going to take this lightly. I think we should let all The FOOLS know about this. let me know if i can help you get the word out. Ill evn take people in to get the shots if need be. Im very concerned. Protect the FOOLS.

    Berg:

The class in Arizona is still in the works, I have a request for some basic truck work curriculum so that the need to have a true class can be sold. Lets talk. (I'm going Duck Hunting this next week.)

And what about our Governor? "Coldest State, Hottest Governor!!!!!".
  • Ed Hadfield

Hey you too busy all over the web to say hello??? Hope all is going well, let me know whats new in your world, I have a new home address for the Chadly Christmas Card.
  • Ed Hadfield

    Chadly,
7 new fridges are about what I need to feed my 2 year old son Brett. The kid is a TRUE truckie...Sleeps all night (no kidding), eats and plays all day with a 2 hour mid-day safety nap. And loves to play with Tonka Trucks and in the dirt and mud...Whatta Boy!!!!
