I am excited to join the Fire Engineering family and to have the opportunity to further our profession in a unique way through simple stories about firefighting and life that create thought and learning. IN THESE BOOTS on Facebook has been a joy to write and I so appreciate the chance to share and spread the good news. I also will blog on the Fire Engineering web site.

Firefighting has been and continues to be the greatest profession that could have found me. So much has been given and I hope to pay it forward, one by one. We have to win this one.

Have a great day - it's a GREAT day for it.
