Where firefighters come to talk training

I recently interviewed for a position and am concerned because in the past I was prescribed anti-depressants. Now, I know that every department is different, but could this be grounds for an automatic rejection of my application? How in-depths do they typically go into a persons medical history?
Thanks.

Thanks,
They didn't ask if I had ever taken any but I was just wondering if they would find out while doing their homework on me. Should I put something at the end of the Statement of Personal History (i.e. I took blah blah for 6 months due to death of mother) even if they don't ask?
