Right now, we are encouraged to at least wear our bunkers when going to an MVC, fire or mutual aid. The jacket is optional until we get on the scene. My lieutenant has us wear the bunkers to fires and MVCs incase they need a hand or help before a second company arrives. We generally run a three man engine.
