Can you get someone from the Nat'l Wildfire Coordinating Group or Forest Service to teach the Wildland Firefighter and Fire Behavior classes? Are there places that Red Card folks that can help you out?
Thanks for the reply, I am looking just to put some basic ops and safety concerns on paper, just a reminder to some of the guys who have not operated at these type fires. We are an urban dept. and we usually only get these fires in spring time. unfortunately, they usually take up alot of resources and all we do is chase it around until it gores out. Access, electrical lines, trains, water supplies are some of our problems. Thanks for the info
