Fire Engineering Training Community

Where firefighters come to talk training

ITS MORE THAN OUR NAME...IT'S OUR MISSION
When a firefighter dies in the line-of-duty, the fire service (both collectively and as individuals) does an outstanding job paying tribute to the fallen’s ultimate sacrifice with honor guards, elaborate ceremonies, tributes and memorials. HONOR THEIR SACRIFICES recognizes the importance of how we acknowledge these brave individuals through the extravagant post incident activities, but we also firmly believe that one of the best ways to honor their sacrifice(s) is to make sure those that are preventable do not occur again. True honor of their sacrifice means we learn the lessons their sacrifices have taught us and then apply those lessons to prevent the incident from reoccurring.

HONOR THEIR SACRIFICES NEEDS YOUR HELP
HONOR THEIR SACRIFICES began as an idea and three friends in the fire service in August 2008 and has now grown into a Texas based not-for-profit organization run by a Board of Directors and supported by the efforts of Regional and State Coordinators. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about firefighter safety and survival issues, lead by example and want to make a difference...WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU! If you are interested in assisting us in any way, please contact us:
