Staying Connected with the Fire Service

I have been in the Army for 20 years and a firefighter for 18. Everywhere that I work with the military, I also volunteer as a firefighter. I have been deployed twice and we are getting ready for a year in Afghanistan. I thought that by starting this Group, we could discuss some of the difficulties of staying connected with changes in our own departments and in the American Fire Service as a whole. I would like to be able to openly and professionally talk about issues that affect us all. Hope that this takes off!
