Where firefighters come to talk training

At 7:05 we got tone out tonight for and call,man was having chest pains,As a first responder,I was second on the scene,entered the house,the man was already blue,had small pulse.
EMT was called,we the fire dept did CPR 30 minutes on this guy before the ambulance got there.
I cannot believe it took the ambulance so long to get there,lately they get the locations screwed up. I think central really ,got its directions wrong,,on this call,
Does this happen to other fire departments often..?
