Where firefighters come to talk training

I'll like to hear any opinions in regard tower rescue skills being use by the industry vs. the fire service rope rescue skill. Does anyone . will like to share their thoughts on this subjects. Recently I had the opportunity to review and learn the skills presented in a competent tower climber and rescue trainer course by Gravitec which I enjoyed till the last day. Very similar skills to rope rescue but some of the peculiar techniques (for me) go against of the procedures outlined by NFPA; to my surprise, they all made sense when applied. Should we add some of these skills or all to rope rescue (fall protection, rescue systems, etc.) I know that the new revision of NFPA on rescue includes tower rescue but is there any agency that had integrated the skill to their rope rescue SOP's or lesson plans?
