Where firefighters come to talk training

Hi new to this forum, I work with a repair facility in metro detroit and we have a 1997 Peirce fire truck to remove the transmisson.  This is the first piece of fire equipment I have worked on in which the cab does not tilt.  Just wondering if anyone else out there has had any experience working on this type of truck, any tips would be great.  The task appears to be very daunting to say the least, thanks in advance, Tim.
