Where firefighters come to talk training

Recently I got a letter from the chicago fire department stating that i'm in the 500's for there paramedic list. I have been trying to find information online about how many paramedics work for the fire dept. but I haven't been able to find any solid info. I am wondering if anybody knows or knows of any good websites that have listed how many paramedics work for chicago, how many people they usually hire per year, and if i've 500 on the list how long on average does it usually take to reach that number? Thanks
