This is a 2 day, 16 hour, CSTI certified First Responder Operations (FRO) course that meets the requirements for 29 CFR 1910.120(q), CCR Title 8 Section 5192(q), NFPA 472 and CCR Title 19.

The Hazardous Materials FRO Classroom Training CSTI course is designed to train participants how to respond defensively to a hazardous materials release.

Topics include:

* Recognition of Hazardous Materials
* Safe Response Tactics
* Use of the DOT ERG
* Protecting the Public
* Protective Equipment
* Emergency Decon

Each successful participant will receive an updated copy of the Emergency Response Guidebook (ERG), a student manual and will be issued a certificate from the State of California.
