Fire Engineering Training Community

Where firefighters come to talk training

Howdy all,

I'm brand new on here and joined hoping to brush shoulders with some seasoned EM's.  Specifically, I'm hoping to gain some insight from the opinions of fellow members about the future of Disaster and Emergency planning/management.  I want to know what the trends are for the next five years or so.  I'm getting ready to begin a lengthy research paper and want to pick a topic that is certain to remain relavent and "hot" for the next several years.

I would welcome any input or discussions related to what you all see coming down the pike in terms of where we need to be researching/learning and preparing for in the next five years or so.

Thanks in advance,

Max
