Fire Engineering Training Community

Where firefighters come to talk training

Brothers & Sisters
We are looking for some feedback from anyone that has used the Firefighter I and II text book for their Firefighter I academy. We are interested in switching from IFSTA manuals to this one. While we are not concerned about the practical skills of the text, our concern is whether or not our recruits will be able to get the information necessary to pass the written State certification exam. Has anyone used the text for a recruit class yet, and what was the success rate of your recruits passing the written portion of the certification exam.
