We have seen the MW grow each year by leaps and bounds and then things dropped off a bit. We know times are tight but we also know that America's firefighters are best at remembering our own, like few other groups do. As Chief of Operations each year at MW, I can tell you first hand that we can accommodate more people on the campus on Sunday for the main ceremony. I'd like to urge America's firefighters to come to the campus of the National Fire Academy on October 16, 2011. It will change your life. For additional information on being a participating honor guard, a family escort, or other MW activities, follow the web site at www.firehero.org.
