SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL 1 ALARM ASSIGNMENT

1^st Engine – Investigation / Fire attack

2^nd Engine – Water supply, then Back Up, OR Second line OR Block line

3^rd Engine – Back up if not in place OR IRIT

4^th Engine- IRIT or Tactical reserve

1^st Truck – Search, Outside Ventilation, Outside Vent Person

Outside Vent Person gets to the back, opens up opposite fire attack, addresses utilities, VES if required.

Medic – Assist with fire attack

Medic – Medical

BC – Initial IC

2^nd Chief – Operations

3^rd Chief – Division C

4^th Chief – Safety

5^th Chief – Assignable

MULTI FAMILY PROTECTED

1^st Engine – Investigation / Fire attack

2^nd Engine - FDC

3^nd Engine – Water supply

4^rd Engine –  Back Up, OR Second line OR Block line

5^th Engnie - Back up if not in place OR IRIT

1^st Truck – Search

2^nd Truck – Floor above, Outside vent

Medic – Assist with fire attack

Medic – Medical

BC – Initial IC

2^nd Chief – Operations

3^rd Chief – Division C

4^th Chief – Safety

5^th Chief – Assignable

RETAIL / COMMERCIAL

1^st Engine – Investigation / Fire attack

2^nd Engine – FDC / Water supply

3^nd Engine – Water supply

4^rd Engine –  Back Up, OR Second line OR Block line

5^th Engnie - Back up if not in place OR IRIT

1^st Truck – Forcible entry

2^nd Truck –  Outside vent, Search

Medic – Assist with fire attack

Medic – Medical

BC – Initial IC

2^nd Chief – Operations

3^rd Chief – Division C

4^th Chief – Safety

5^th Chief – Assignable

When tactical reserve is assigned, the next greater alarm is requested

An Operations Chief is always assigned and becomes the Rescue Chief in the event of a Mayday

The Outside Vent Position may be assigned as the Inside Hook is the Outside Vent Team can address all ventilation needs
