Where firefighters come to talk training

Take a look at the video below. Notice how the exterior of the building is older looking but the interior is different. What can be done, upon our arrival to this situation to protect our members from injury?

Thanks for the link and the great discussion. Not too much for me to add, but I do want to comment on the fire captain's interview. Excellent job!!! He was able to explain the problem in an accurate and easy to understand way without resorting to technical jargon or scare tactics. Not that these things aren't scary, but the public doesn't have the knowledge base that we have concerning fire behavior, etc and can't understand why we would call this type of construction "firefighter killer." If you really want to impact your city building or code committee, put the info in the hands of the people they serve: the public. Good work Milwaukee!!

It has a similar thread for discussion and some more ideas on what to do to prevent FF deaths and injuires in these fire buildings.
