Where firefighters come to talk training

I’m looking for specs on pump test pits. Maybe I dreamed it up but I seem to remember some one telling me about a pit that doubled as a T trench as well as something we could do FF drowned proofing in? If any one has any ideas, blue prints or reasons why it can’t be done please let me know. Thanks Rhudy

As long as the Engine discharge isn't close to the suction (air bubbles mess you up) any concrete or fiberglass lined tank will work. We use two drop tanks. Discharge into one, jet syphon to the other and draft from #2.

I would wonder if you should be dipping a FF, and more importantly their gear, into water that is either untreated and moldy or treated and breaks down Kevlar.
I’m looking for something more permanent than drop tanks, but that would work for now. The moldy water is a very good point. We use gear that has been removed from service for what ever reason. Because some one will bring it up it is dangerous training but I believe it is well worth the risk. We use one swimmer as an instructor and one diver per FF in water. Thanks Brother
Do you have structures on piers or docks?
No we don't
