Where firefighters come to talk training

Rappelling demonstration at the Fort Buchanan Fire Department Training Facility; during this session personnel practiced a skill known for some as the retrievable rope rappel or like Ken Brennan refers in his book, Rope Rescue for Firefighting as the DRT (double rope technique). This method will give the means for the rescuer to rappel down to the objective, and when the mission is accomplished to pull the rope from the bottom.
