Where firefighters come to talk training

Just curious -- how do you feel about animated fireground simulations? Do you think they are worthy training tools or just bells & whistles? Do you think the lessons stick with the student? Or is it just a better alternative to playing Wii?

I think that animated training simulations are good, as long as they aren't too "cartoonish." It's also tough to really show the differences in simulations when it comes to teaching folks from rural areas with limited manpower all the way up to departments that have better staffing and equipment.
Thanks, Marques. Can you tell me some of your favorite simulation programs that you've used?
