San José Firefighters Tackle 5-Alarm Structure Fire

On Saturday, February 14th, 2015, at 0657 hours, the San José Fire Department responded to a report of a commercial structure fire at 1041 Commercial Court in an industrial section of the city.

First due Engine 5 reported smoke showing from the station and immediately struck a second-alarm upon arrival. Defensive operations were quickly established as crews battled a stubborn fire fed by a large volume of auto upholstery material.

The blaze displaced several people living in a recreational vehicle on the property and left the structure completely destroyed.
