Bio:
I'm a 14-year student of the job. I started my career in 1995 with the Painesville Twp. Fire Department and joined the Euclid Fire Dept. in 2000. I have two Associate's Degrees, one in Fire Science from Lakeland Community College and the other in EMS from Cuyahoga Community College. I was promoted to Lieutenant in 2006, and made Captain in 2008. I'm currently assigned to Ladder 1 but function as an acting Platoon Chief nearly half the year. I work as a Fire Instructor for Cuyahoga Community College and occasionally at Auburn Career Center. Instructing is proving to be very enjoyable since I learn from both the students and the other instructors. This job was here long before me and it will be here long after me, so while I'm here I hope to have a positive influence on those I have the opportunity work with and instruct. Stay safe everyone, and don't forget the basics!!!
