Joined the fire service (as an explorer) at 17 years old in July 1992. I spent 8 years as a volunteer/paid-per call firefighter until hired full-time in October 2000. I have an A.S of Applied Science-Fire Science Technology from Lansing Community College, Lansing, Michigan (1997), Fire Officer I & II, Fire Instructor (Basic Firefighting, HazMat Awareness/Ops, Driver Training)
