Bio:
Michael DeGrosky is Chief Executive of Guidance Group, Inc. a consulting firm specializing in the human and organizational aspects of the fire and emergency services. His professional interests include leadership, strategy, and bringing the concepts of learning organizations and high reliability organizing alive in fire organizations. He is an experienced wildland and municipal fire professional with an emergency service background spanning more than 30 years, including service in a variety of professional fire management positions with the State of Montana. Mike served as a member of incident management teams, and maintains qualifications as OSC2 and ICT3. Mike is an alumnus of the University of Montana, School of Forestry and Fort Hays State University, College of Business and Leadership. He is currently pursuing a PhD focused on organizational leadership with Northcentral University, conducting research into training transfer from leadership development training programs.
