As with most departments staffing is and has been a huge issue. On the up side the department was just evaluated by ISO and the department went from a 5 to a 2. Without more staffing we will never be able to achieve a 1
Professional Qualifications:
Combined 25 years as a forward thinking Captain and then chief. Attend the University of Akron for fire science technology, NIMS, Emergency Management, master planning, consultant, FO 1&2 instructor. Developing FO 3&4 class for a University which will be announced in ythe next 3-4 months, Developed plan that was adopted by the University to revamp the entire structure of their current fire training program to become a leader in fire service training and education.

NIMS, Emergency Management, Hazmat, Fire officer 1 &2, Leadership, size up incorporating the new SLICE-RS tactics.

NIMS, Master Planning, Fire Station location studies, Standards of over, Mergers and Consolidations
