Entered Fire Service on 21 October 1983 in East Hampton New York, Engine 2. Held ranks of Lt, Captain and 2nd Asst Chief.
Moved to Florida in 1993 and joined Pine island / Matlacha FD. Held rank of Firefighter.
Transferred to Golden gate Fire and Rescue and held the rank of Firefighter/EMT.
Moved to North carolina in 2004 and joined Union Road Fire Department, Gastonia NC. Held rank of Firefighter, then Captain, and am now the 2nd Assistant Chief and Training Officer.
