Bio:
Chief Seidel is a 30 year fire service veteran. He spent 26 year with the Los Angeles Fire Department and retired in 2004 as an Assistant Chief. He is currently, since 2004, the Fire Chief for Hillsboro Fire Department. He has had the opportunity to speak on an international realm on numerous fire service topics. He also has served on several Incident Management Teams as an Area Commander, Incident Commander, Operations Section Chief and Planning Section Chief. Some of these noteworthy incidents include: World Trade Center, Salt Lake City 2002 Winter Olympics, Northridge Earthquake, Los Angeles Civil Disturbance and Sacramento Floods, and numerous Wildland incidents.
