Here is an easy to make vent marking trainer we got from FDIC online. You could rprobably fill it with sand or gravel to get the weight of the type of saw you are using .

hope all is well. I just used it in a training class. We plan to put it on film for a segment of tactical building blocks. I was asked to hold off till FE comes up with a way to download the PP and film. They are almost there I will be in touch.
