Beyond the Academy: Forcible Entry Operations

- Participate in a 2-hr lecture/discussion centered on size-up, tools, safety and common-sense approaches to forcible entry!

- Conventionally force inward and outward opening doors at varying degrees of difficulty using the "irons"

- Baseball swing for low-manpower forcible entry

- Force doors from the "hinged-side" using the "irons"

- Force padlocks using a Duck-bill lock breaker & the "irons"

- Several padlock, slide-bolt, carriage bolt set-ups

- Perform at least 10 cuts with a power saw of various heights & saw orientation simulating the removal of window bars

- Pull several lock cylinders using the "irons", a K-Tool and/or the the "RexTool"

- Receive ample hands-on training using through-the-lock techniques to

manipulate locks on display

Early Registration Rate: $

140.00 (if signed up by 08/22/2012)

Late Registration Rate: $

160.00 (on or after 08/23/2012)

Hey if you can't make the F.O.O.L.S. 2012 Convention here in Alaska in July, you might really want to consider attending our 2012 Alaska Fire Conference in Sitka on September 17th - 22nd.

This years Keynote Speaker is the Legendary Chief John Norman, FDNY Ret.
