Bio:
Bill Hopson is a 34 year veteran of the New Jersey Fire Service. He is a State of New Jersey, certified Level II Fire Instructor and a certified Live Burn and SCBA / Smokehouse Instructor. Since 1986, he has served as as Deputy Fire Marshal for Ocean County, New Jersey. He is the author / creator of the New Jersey Everyone Goes Home Program for the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation. He is a member of several professional organizations including the New Jersey Fire Safety Commission's Training and Education Committee and the New Jersey Chapter of the International Association of Fire Service Instructors. He is a third generation Firefighter who lectures and instructs across the Country, on a variety of topics. He has written several articles for Fire Engineering and Fire Department Training Network.
