Started as a third-generation volunteer and began my career service in 1975. Worked my way up through the ranks and was promoted to Battalion Chief and Apparatus Supervisor in 1987, holding that position untile retirement in 2004. Served as a voting member of the NFPA Apparatus committee and since retiremet have been an altermate member of the committee.
