    Jay,

Hope all is well. 20 years ago we had you our to the Glenview Naval Air Station to do a two-day trench shoring class (the old way-with 4x4s). Well, they closed the base in 1992 and we have been converting 20 of the 1200 acres into a public safety academy. If you are curiuous our site is www.nipsta.org. There are also some good birdseye photos on maps.live.com. Thanks for the class 20 years ago-it had a huge affect our our fledging tech rescue team which has grown to 95 career members from 17 departments and operates a dedicated heavy rescue and 16-ft trailer for rope, con-space, trench and structural collapse.
