Bio:: I got my start in the fire service in 2004 on a small volunteer dept. I graduated the Illinois Fire Service Institute Firefighter 2 Academy in 2007. I have been a career firefighter since 2008. In addition to being a firefighter I am also a Nationally Registered Paramedic, and a co-host on the Fire Engineering blog talk radio show “Small Town Tactics and Tools”.
