Bio:
29 years in the fire service. 5 yrs as a volunteer in Illinois, 24 yrs as a career firefighter. 12 years with the Hobart, Indiana Fire Department.

The last 14 yrs with the St. Louis Fire Department assigned to Engine Co. 28 (housed with H&L5 and Battalion 5). E28 is one of the busiest in the city responding to over 4,000 runs a year. E28/H&L5/B5 are assigned as part of the HazMat Task Force, responding to incidents city wide.

Currently an engine company captain on Engine29 (Midtown St. Louis.) Responding to over 3800 runs a year. 1st in response area includes dozens of commercial and residential high rises, large commercial and light industry structures, 2 primary receiving hospitals along with their schools of medicine, and 2 major interstate highways.


Fire service instructor, industrial safety instructor. Past president of IAFF Local 1641 in Hobart, IN.............
