Mostly specialize in Live fire, RIT, and Survival. I also do all the basic topics too.
Bio:
Well, I started in a small volunteer fire department making about 325 runs a year. I stayed with that department for 7 1/2 years working my way through the ranks from a private to Lieutenant to Chief. While volunteering I got hired as a career firefighter at a military installation and worked there for 3 1/2 years moving the ranks from private to Lieutenant. I then got hired at the municipal fire department I currently work for. In this time I moved volunteer fire departments and stayed with that department. I currently do not volunteer anywhere. I now teach fire classes for the state of Indiana and currently the Live fire instructor for Indiana District 7. My current fire department makes approx. 9,500 runs a year., we have 6 Engines 2 Ladders and 3 Ambulances in service.
remember me from the FF safety and survival class?? Wanted to thank-you again for a great class, the work was hard, but the experience was fantastic. Thanks for being patient with me...I know my lack of RIT training slowed the class down, but overall I think everyone was supportive and that is what being a team is all about!
