Born and raised in Greenlawn New York and proudly served with the Greelawn Fire Department before moving to Texas in the mid 90's. Became a member of the Highland Village Fire Department and the Denton County Fire Marshal's office and now serve with the Little Elm Fire Department.

Former President of the Denton County Fire Chief's Association, a board member of the IAFC/VCOS and State Coordinator for the Texas Intrastate Fire Mutual Aid System (TIFMAS).

Married for 15 years to Lisa and have a son and a daughter.
