Bio:: Started as a Volunteer in 1986 with the St Matthews Fire District, then joined McMahan Fire & Rescue, rising to the rank of Captain.

In 1993, enlisted in the US Coast Guard, serving on the USCGC Spencer in Boston, MA, and at Station Grand Haven in Michigan.

Upon completion of active duty enlistment, was hired as a career firefighter by the Muskegon Fire Department. I am the driver for Engine 23, covering the downtown district as well as second due for the rest of the City. Our crew also operates Rescue 73, our fire/rescue boat, covering Muskegon Lake and Lake Michigan.

I also worked for the Muskegon County HAZMAT Team as a Specialist from 1999-2004.

When I'm not on-duty, I'm spending time with my three daughters.
