Emergency management student, Communications Officer for the City of Austin Community Emergency Response Team and a member of International Association of Emergency Managers, International Network of Women in Emergency Management, and the Department of Homeland Security First Responder Communities of Practice. She is also a former volunteer firefighter and is an Advanced Certified firefighter with the State Firemen’s and Fire Marshals’ Association of Texas.
