Bio:
I was a firefighter in Greenville, Ohio for 25 years. After retirement I was appointed to the Ohio Fire Marshal's office where I was a hazmat technician for the Northwest Area of Ohio serving 27 counties in response and training. I am now the exercise coordinator for the Ohio Department of Health. Moving to public health has allowed me to bring the training and information from the fire service in ICS and exercises to the health arena to help public health work as a responder in the age of terrorism and other public health threats. I hold the Master Exercise Practioner Certificate from the Emergency Management Institute at Emmitsburg, Maryland and currently serve as an adjunct instructor at the school. I also serve as an adjunct instructor for the Oho Fire Academy and the University of Findlay.
Welcome to the world's greatest training site. This is where the serious trainers come to train & learn from each other. Please allow me to invite you to the group called "HAZMAT PLACARDS TO SUCCESS". This group is for the firefighter, the EMA officer, and the HazMat Technician. I would love to hear what you have to say. This is a great time to join the group as our main focus is currently the first stages of the HazMat Incident.
