Bio:
Sam Bradley has been in EMS for 30 years as a Paramedic, Clinical and Educational Services Coordinator, Regional Educator, preceptor, and ambulance company field supervisor. Sam has taught Emergency Medical Technician Courses in the State Community College system for 25 years, and has a part time vocation as a freelance writer for EMS related journals, online publications and textbooks. She recently had a story published in an anthology of disaster stories, has completed a novel, and has recently started podcasting. She has done workshops for national EMS conferences, and is the Training Officer for the federal Disaster Medical Assistance Team, CA-6. Sam is also a Medical Team Leader for the state Wildland Fire Medical Support Program through the California Disaster Medical Services Association. She serves as the vice-chair for the Interstate Disaster Medical Services Cooperative. Other roles include QI consultant and educator for Contra Costa County Fire Communications Center, and EMS educator, QI Consultant and Infection Control Officer for the East Contra Costa County Fire Protection District.
