Bio:
Joe is a Career Firefighter with the City of Torrington Fire Department, with 20 years on the job. I have been a Union Officer for 4 years and currently hold the Vice President position. I am an Instructor with the Connecticut Fire Academy working on my 8th year. I am an Instructor with the Burrville Regional Fire School with 12 years. I also teach the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) in my area. I served 3 years on the CT wildland fire crew and was deployed to Oregon in 1995. I was Coordinator of the Fire Prevention program for the City of Torrington for 10 years. I work with children through the Firehawk Companion program.
