Engine Company Operations-Engineer

I've created this group for all of us that have one of the most difficult jobs during any working fire. I hope that we can share ideas and/or difficulties from the job that we all may learn from.

Anything New this week???

Sorry I haven't been on here much...still trying to recover from all the FDIC events here in Indy....I did want to mention that if you have any videos or pics related to this group, feel free to post it...Here is a quick thought or question for today...what is your departments stand on Engineers wearing turnout gear while driving??? pros/cons?? As always feel free to email me or call me...stay low and safe!!!

Right now, we are encouraged to at least wear our bunkers when going to an MVC, fire or mutual aid. The jacket is optional until we get on the scene. My lieutenant has us wear the bunkers to fires and MVCs incase they need a hand or help before a second company arrives. We generally run a three man engine.
