It is a great tool to compliment your rescue equipment; really easy to apply into different evolutions. Recently I've been doing some tower rescue training with several departments in Puerto Rico and besides using the Petzl ID for descending and lowering I tried the SCARAB and it served the purpose. Give it a try, you wont regret. Make sure if you are thinking on investing $$$$ for this tools, buy the one approved by NFPA (1983). Be safe.
