Looking for some help!!! I am looking for some Haz-Mat SOPS or SOGS if anyone can help please let me know. Our dept does not have much so i am trying to rewrite or make new. AnthonyS@franklin-gov.com Franklin Fire Dept. Franklin TN. 37064 Thanks for all the help and stay safe
I have been asked to teach the annual operations refresher for the entire fire department, including fire police and EMS. Last year I found a video intro to the ERG, that went OK, it was a little long. I want to emphasize stay safe (approach from uphill and upwind, ID the chemical, etc.) and call the HazMat team ASAP. Does anyone know where I can find a visual program, such as PowerPoint, video, or slides, so I don't have to reinvent the wheel. TIA
Hello Haz Mat experts. I have been tasked with completing an SOP on decon of an engine or haz mat vehicle. In other words, if an engine got to close to a scene, how does your department decon the piece of apparatus? Do you spray it off with large amounts of water? Do you try to capture the run off? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
