If the house has no ridge vent, Sound for a truss(or just guess). Once you make your cut, go over 2 feet. Chances are you will miss the truss. Keep in mind that the top of the decking(at the ridge) is not attached and will fall.

Very nice. This is one of the quickest roof operations that I have seen. Speed is important in roof ops. This is something that I will teach in addition to others. What do you suggest on houses without ridge vent.
