Stockton Firefighters responded to 5 working structure fires during their 48 hour shift starting August 23rd at 0800. This is the second of those fires, in the 1500 block of Morrison. Crews arrived on scene to heavy fire in the structure, multiple exposures on fire, and forcible entry issues. Firefighters quickly addressed the D side exposure while awaiting forcible entry, then made an aggressive interior fire attack. Water-supply (relay pumping) operations delayed fire attack only for a moment- before crews advanced into the building. Stockton (CA) Working Structure Fire

Stockton Firefighters responded to multiple reports of a structure fire on August 13th, 2016 in the 2000 block of South San Joaquin Street. The first alarm assignment arrived on scene to fire in both units of the duplex, in the attic, in the back yard, and spreading to an adjacent structure (C exposure). Engine 2 pulled an attack line, flowing water to the rear of the structure and transitioning to an interior attack. A second line was pulled to the rear of the structure as the Fire Attack crew knocked down the interior flames. On Tuesday, June 21st 2016, Stockton Firefighters responded to reports of fire in a building on Weber Ave. Upon arriving on scene, conditions appeared that there was fire through the roof; later determined to be a rooftop fire with extension into the fifth floor cockloft.

Stockton (CA) Semi-Trailer Truck Vehicle Accident & Fire

'A' Shift Stockton Firefighters were attending the Stockton Police Officers Memorial on May 6th, 2015, and were available for emergencies while dressed in formal Class A attire. These crews responded to reports of a vehicle accident on Southbound I-5, South of Charter Way. Engine 2, Engine 6, Truck 2, Battalion 1, and the Chief's Operator arrived on scene after traffic delays to a Pickup Truck into a Semi-Trailer Truck, both of which were on fire. Crews were able to determine everyone was out of the vehicles, and quickly work on extinguishing the blaze. One Fire Captain suffered minor injuries, and was transported to the hospital for a burn to his ear and neck. Video: StocktonFireHistory
