Hey Chief!
What are you thoughts about the term Engine/Rescue? We are looking at replacing two of our trucks with one truck called a ENGINE RESCUE. Several Departments in the area are doing this. Instead of 1,000 gallons of water we will have 300 gallons. I have mixed feelings, what do you think?

Chief.. Just wanted to drop a line and say "Thank You" for the efforts to make FE and FDIC such a success, and the use of technology to allow those that can't make the conf. and other venues accessible to the materials. The results have made a better thinking FF, rather that so reactionary...

Thanks again to you and your staff for outstanding work!!... Jimmy

Thanks for the compliment Chief

I believe it's what we are chosen to do and why were here. We love helping others, especially our own.

I posted your request to help our injured brother in the Helping Our Own Group and sent a prayer request to my friends at the Fellowship of Christian Firefighters International.

I would love to have you for lunch at Station 4 anytime. I work on "C" platoon and will be there Wednesday. We need a different perspective. I sat in on a Rockhill/Halton class before my CPT'S exam. You cracked me up with your ability to be blunt with some guys that really needed it. Matter of fact, we still talk about that class at the station. Again, any time you could, we would love to have you. Just let me know your schedule.

Chief Halton, Im in need of advice. Im a probie in a volunteer dept. We border houston, sometimes we serve calls together. It is obvious there could be VAST improvement in the way we work together, VERY OBVIOUS. what would be the best we to go about asking houston and my department to train together.

Sorry Chief, I must have been looking in all the wrong places. Sad deal though. Detroit has been going through a lot of issues lately and I wish the best for them.
