Dear Nathan,
I hope you don't mind me getting in touch. My name is Pete and I work for a documentary company in England called Testimony Films.
We are currently making a new 9/11 documentary on the heroic work of the NYPD Emergency Services Unit on September 11th for Channel 4, a British broadcaster. We have previously made a number of 9/11 documentaries focussing on the FDNY on 9/11, including 'The Miracle of Stairway B', '9/11: The Firemen's Story' and '9/11: Firehouse'.
I wanted to enquire with you about the possibility of using some of your images from 9/11 in our programme. The images my editor is interested in are called 'NYPD' and 'Bill Beaury copy'.
If you might be willing to let us feature your images it would be fantastic if I might be able to source a higher resolution version.
If there was any way you might be willing to help me with this I would be incredibly grateful. I am more than happy to answer any questions you may have about the company I work for or the programme we are making.
Thank you so much for your time and I very much hope to hear from you. My email address is pete.vance@testimonyfilms.com.
Best Wishes,
Pete Vance
