As a writer and consultant I see similar yet different issues in all sorts for fire and EMS services. I try to write about the how to get them fixed in the real world to these real world problems and such.
Professional Qualifications:
IFSAC Level II Fire Service Instructor, Texas EMS Instructor, Texas (SFFMA and TCFP) Fire Service Instructor - Level II, Certified Environmental Trainer, Texas and NR EMT-Basic, Firefighter II, HAZMAT Technician and Instructor. I-400 qualified Incident Commander.
Topics you provide training for:
General fire and EMS topics as well as HAZMAT and special problem fires such as Ethanol and Class A and B foam for industry. NIMS and ICS at all levels, CPR and first aid.
Areas of expertise:
Weapons of mass destruction, HAZMAT, special problem fires, foam firefighting, NIMS and ICS. Training program development and delivery,
Bio:
Louis N. Molino, Sr. is a twenty-eight year veteran emergency services provider with both fire and EMS experience in urban, suburban and rural environments. He has been published in a number of national Fire and EMS magazines and has also been a Chapter Contributor for a number of major Fire and EMS texts. He has written a textbook on Incident Management for John Wiley and Son’s entitled Emergency Incident Management Systems: Fundamentals and Applications, He is the President of the EMS Association of Texas (EMSAT) he also currently serves as a Member of the Board of Directors of the National Fire Academy Alumni Association for Region VI and is a Member of several other professional associations at all levels. He is currently a Fire and EMS author, consultant and instructor based in College Station, Texas and can be reached at LNMolino@aol.com and welcomes comments on his writing.
